Basketball Recap: Interboro Takes a Loss

Interboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 65-58 to the Penn Wood Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 465th, while the Patriots are ranked 108th).

Interboro's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Penn Wood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Interboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Penn Wood, they will venture away from home to face off against Holy Ghost Prep at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
