Volleyball Recap: Rangely Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rangely was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Meeker Cowboys. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Saturday.

Rangely was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Meeker work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-19, 25-15, 25-21.

Aubrianna Tapia paced Rangely's offense, picking up seven kills. Tapia got some help from Rylee Kenney and her eight assists. Teagan Behunin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Rangely's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Meeker, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rangely will take on West Grand at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Meeker, they will square off against Cedaredge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
