Basketball Recap: Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau Comes Up Short

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Cochrane-Fountain City Pirates, falling 62-33. While losing is never fun, the Red Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 447th, while the Pirates are ranked 160th).

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Cochrane-Fountain City, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau will take on Luther at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cochrane-Fountain City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
