Volleyball Recap: Clarkton Takes a Loss

Clarkton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bloomfield Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Clarkton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tabitha Rivera had 18 digs and two assists. Rivera is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Clarkton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-25-1. As for Bloomfield, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14.

Clarkton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bloomfield has already played their next match (against Gideon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
