Perry is 0-5 against McComb since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Commodores will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Perry has given up an average of 21.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Perry came up short against Ridgemont on Monday, falling 22-1.

Perry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kierra Woods, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Woods has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Brooklynn Keysor also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, McComb made easy work of Leipsic on Monday and carried off a 15-4 victory. Considering the Panthers have won ten games by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Lily Sebring made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
In other batting news, McComb let Madison Brown and Joruney Scheff run wild. Brown went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base, while Scheff got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Scheff a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Peyton Dingledine, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
McComb hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive contests.
McComb is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Perry has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like McComb struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Perry might still be hurting after the 13-3 defeat they got from McComb in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Will the Commodores have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
