Basketball Game Preview: Texas Wind vs. Itasca Wampus Cats

Having just played yesterday, Texas Wind will jump right back in to play the Itasca Wampus Cats at 11:10 a.m. on Friday.

Texas Wind's tournament run continued when they took on Moody on Thursday. Texas Wind fell just short of Moody by a score of 39-37. Texas Wind has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Itasca had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs 53-31. The Wampus Cats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Texas Wind's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Itasca, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

Texas Wind might still be hurting after the 48-28 defeat they got from Itasca in their previous meeting back in November. Can Texas Wind avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
