Basketball Recap: Terra Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Davinci Academy

Terra Academy had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 67-43 to the DaVinci Academy Dragons.

DaVinci Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jacob Read out in front who went 9 of 16 on his way to 21 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daxton Chipp, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 19 points and four steals.

DaVinci Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

While Terra Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
