Lodi proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 24) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the St. Mary's Rams 57-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-51 back in January.

Leading Lodi to victory were Jonas Currington and Drew Tetz. Currington posted eight points and 17 rebounds, while Tetz shot 63% from the field on his way to 17 points. What's more, Tetz also posted a 75% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jackson Butler, who scored 11 points.

Lodi smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. They are 4-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

St. Mary's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Vales, who went 6-for-13 en route to 17 points. Vales is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last four games he's played. Jonah Millonida was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Lodi's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-12. As for St. Mary's, they moved to 15-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Lodi didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-53 defeat against Inderkum on the 7th. As for St. Mary's, they will venture away from home to take on Modesto Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Crusaders have now posted at least 55 points in their last 14 matchups.
