After a string of six wins, MacArthur's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spring Lions, falling 17-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Generals couldn't push the score so high this time.

MacArthur saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amanda Morales, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Spring, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. MacArthur will face off against rival Westfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Spring is set to square off against their familiar foe Dekaney at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
