Horizon takes down Central in a playoff battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Horizon Huskies had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Bobcats. Winning may never get old, but Horizon sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of Kaden Cox and Derek Moran, who scored all three of Horizon's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 13 so far this season.

Horizon is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Horizon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Central also has no future games currently scheduled.
