Wetumpka won the last time they faced Tallassee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Tigers.

Sophie Arant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Arant was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 12 games.

In other batting news, Lily Davenport was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Kyla Richardson, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Wetumpka has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 42-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tallassee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.
