Baseball Recap: Scottsburg Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

Scottsburg put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Austin Eagles. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

The team relied heavily on Garrett McClellan, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cale Barger, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
