Basketball Game Preview: Silo Rebels vs. Hugo Buffaloes

Silo has gone 6-0 against Hugo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Silo Rebels will be playing at home against the Hugo Buffaloes at 6:30 p.m. Hugo took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Silo, who comes in off a win.

Silo is returning to their home court after beating Wilson on theirs, despite the fact Wilson has dominated at home this season. Silo skirted past Wilson 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rebels have posted since January 11th.

Meanwhile, Hugo ended up a good deal behind Ada on Saturday and lost 62-48. The loss continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Hugo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Silo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Silo strolled past Hugo in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 55-41. Will Silo repeat their success, or does Hugo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
