Softball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Salem duked it out with Corydon Central on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Salem saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lila Blevins, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Corydon Central, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Looking ahead, Salem will challenge Clay City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Corydon Central, they will face off against South Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
