Basketball Game Preview: Florida Christian Patriots vs. American Patriots + Official Tickets

Florida Christian will take on American at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Florida Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

American is facing Florida Christian at the wrong time: Florida Christian suffered their first home loss of the season on Monday and they're likely out for redemption. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to the Lions. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 16-12 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, American earned a 63-53 win over Miami Springs on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Golden Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Florida Christian better keep an eye on Nathan Chamartin. He was instrumental in American's win, shooting 75% from the field en route to 15 points and six steals. Chamartin is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Garcia, who posted ten points.

American's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Florida Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
