Soccer Recap: Fike Starts Season with Win Against Union Pines

Fike had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Union Pines Vikings get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The matchup was close at halftime, but Fike turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

Micah Foula and Enrique Arizpe scored all three of Fike's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fike will face off against Pender at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union Pines, they will take on Northside - Jacksonville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
