Basketball Recap: Addison Miller Key Part of Team Effort in Movin Maroons Win

There's no place like home for Dieterich, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 50-26 margin over the Red Hill Salukis on Saturday. The Movin Maroons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Salukis, too.

Dieterich's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Miller, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Miller has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kady Tegler, who put up ten points and three steals.

Dieterich smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Red Hill still got an impressive performance from Caitlee Gray, who earned ten points and three steals. That was a full 38.5% of Red Hill's points, marking the fifth time in a row Gray has had more than a third of the team's points.

Dieterich is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points over those games. As for Red Hill, they dropped their record down to 4-17 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Dieterich has already played their next game, a 57-54 defeat against Altamont on the 17th. Red Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
