Volleyball Recap: Marquette Takes a Loss

Marquette kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wapsie Valley Warriors.

The win (which was Wapsie Valley's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Marquette will head out on the road to square off against Maquoketa Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wapsie Valley, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Central on the 30th.
