Volleyball Recap: Desert Oasis Comes Up Short

Desert Oasis lost against Arbor View back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Diamondbacks lost 3-0 to the Aggies. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Desert Oasis took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-22.

Bryli Allen paced Desert Oasis' offense, picking up six kills. Allen got some help from Riana Morales Imura and her seven assists. Morales Imura also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Charli Quinto, racking up two apiece.

Desert Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Arbor View, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Oasis will take on Sierra Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arbor View, they will challenge Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
