East Robertson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the White House-Heritage Patriots 3-2. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (97-92) East Robertson actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 9-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-14, 15-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Robertson will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Westmoreland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
