Soccer Recap: Kennebunk Takes a Loss

Kennebunk was the 1-0 winner over Falmouth when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Navigators on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Kennebunk can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Falmouth are ranked sixth).

Kennebunk now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Falmouth, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kennebunk will face off against rival Cheverus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Falmouth is set to take on their familiar foe Portland at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
