Jack Burnham posted a new career-low in earned runs on Wednesday. He wasn't messing around, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The pitching appearance was his third straight with two or fewer walks.

Burnham's strong effort led Ida B. Wells over Roosevelt and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
