Baseball Recap: Norview Comes Up Short

Norview was the 17-10 winner over Salem when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Pilots came up short against the Sundevils on Wednesday, falling 15-4. The loss leaves the Pilots still looking for their first win of the season.

Steven Goldston made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Malaki Littlejohn, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Norview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Salem, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Norview will head out to take on Maury at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Commodores' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Pilots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Salem, they will take on Providence Grove in a tournament on Monday.
