Baseball Recap: Cathedral City Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Cathedral City was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Desert Mirage RAMS 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the RAMS last Monday, they had to take a 12-0 defeat.

Isaac Reyes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up 11 Ks. Cathedral City is 3-1 when Reyes allows two or fewer earned runs, but 1-9 otherwise.

Cathedral City's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Desert Mirage, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10.
