Basketball Recap: West Liberty Comes Up Short

If West Liberty was riding high fresh off their 60-36 takedown of Wilton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Liberty Comets lost 54-34 to the Tipton Tigers on Tuesday. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

West Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Tipton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Liberty will head out to face off against Mid-Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tipton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Wilton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
