Basketball Recap: Uniontown Extends Winning Streak to 11

Uniontown waltzed into their match on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They took down the Franklin Regional Panthers 73-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-58 back in January.

Uniontown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Calvin Winfrey out in front who went 9 for 19 en route to 24 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Winfrey's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Kelan Milsom, who went 10 of 16 to rack up 23 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Uniontown's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.1 points over those games. As for Franklin Regional, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

As of now, neither Uniontown nor Franklin Regional have any future games scheduled.
