Basketball Recap: Inwood Academy's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Inwood Academy lost against Luperon back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Inwood Academy Trailblazers took a 76-62 bruising from Luperon. While losing is never fun, the Trailblazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Luperon are ranked 38th).

With the loss, Inwood Academy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3. As for Luperon, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inwood Academy will take on Community Health Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Luperon, they will square off against Inwood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
