Orlando Christian Prep's game  last Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They came out on top against City of Life Christian Academy by a score of  18-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The result was nothing new for Orlando Christian Prep, who have now won six games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Blaise Schuster made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-low in  walks (one). He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news, Orlando Christian Prep let  Jorge Martinez and  Seth Vasquez run wild. Martinez  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4, while  Vasquez  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  Vasquez a new career-high in  RBI (three). Another player making a difference was  Carter Reis, who  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Orlando Christian Prep  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as City of Life Christian Academy only managed eight  hits.
With the  victory, Orlando Christian Prep broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4. As for City of Life Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Looking ahead, Orlando Christian Prep will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Trinity Christian Academy  at 5:00  p.m. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Central Florida Christian Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. City of Life Christian Academy's pitchers better be ready for this one: Central Florida Christian Academy has averaged an impressive 9.5  runs per game this season.
