The Wharton Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Columbia Roughnecks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Wharton came up short against Bay City and fell 6-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Columbia came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Blackcats an 11-0 shutout. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Roughnecks yet this season.
