Basketball Game Preview: Dexter Dreadnaughts vs. Pioneer Pioneers

The Dexter Dreadnaughts will face off against the Pioneer Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dexter is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Dexter proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 21) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln, sneaking past 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dreadnaughts have posted since December 17, 2024.

Meanwhile, Pioneer blew past Skyline, posting a 69-41 win. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Dexter's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Pioneer, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
