Basketball Recap: St. Augustine Takes a Loss

St. Augustine lost against St. Joseph Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Augustine Knights took a 42-27 bruising from the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1089th, while the Bloodhounds are ranked 475th).

This is the second loss in a row for St. Augustine and nudges their season record down to 8-15. As for St. Joseph Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Augustine nor St. Joseph Academy have any future games scheduled.
