Idaho City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Gem State Adventist Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Grimaldo out in front who posted 15 points. That's the most points Grimaldo has posted since back in January of 2024. Levi Smith was another key player, putting up ten points.

Idaho City's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Gem State Adventist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Idaho City has already played their next match (against North Star), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Gem State Adventist Academy will take on Liberty Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
