It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Columbia ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They managed a 58-52 win over the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Columbia is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Marissa/Coulterville, they moved to 14-7 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will venture away from home to face off against Freeburg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Marissa/Coulterville, they will head out to take on New Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
