Basketball Recap: Montgomery Academy Takes a Loss

Montgomery Academy lost against Trinity Presbyterian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Montgomery Academy Eagles took a blow against the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats, falling 49-20. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Montgomery Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Trinity Presbyterian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Academy and Thorsby will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
