Basketball Recap: Westinghouse Comes Up Short

Westinghouse played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Taylor Allderdice Dragons 70-33. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-17.

Lukas Stead was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten boards for Taylor Allderdice. Stead's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Taahir Phillips also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Westinghouse dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Taylor Allderdice, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-9.

Westinghouse will face off against Brashear at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Taylor Allderdice, they will welcome Obama Academy of International Studies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
