Lima Senior had won three straight home games and Ja'Niaus Avanti K'Mere Hall did his part to make it four on Friday. The Spartans took their matchup with ease, bagging a 37-6 victory over the Scott Bulldogs with plenty of help from Avanti K'Mere Hall, who threw for 379 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown. He is becoming a predictor of Lima Senior's success: when he posts at least 250 passing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Lima Senior's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB nine times. The heavy lifting was done by Jay'Von Batts and Denzel Ireland, who racked up five sacks between them. Darvion Young got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lima Senior's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Scott, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Lima Senior will face off against Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scott does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
