Football Game Recap: Jefferson Township vs. Hackettstown

Jefferson Township might have drawn first blood against Hackettstown on Thursday, but it was Hackettstown who got the last laugh. Jefferson Township weren't too far behind, but the team still lost 3-7 to Hackettstown. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Jefferson Township was outplayed in the second half. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Jefferson Township off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Hackettstown a 1-0 record.

Jefferson Township are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against High Point next week at 7:00 PM. Hackettstown will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Lenape Valley at 10:00 AM.
