Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Road Wins for University Prep Academy

University Prep Academy hadn't done well against Lincoln recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The University Prep Academy Golden Eagles came out on top against the Lincoln Lions by a score of 3-1. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17.

University Prep Academy was led to victory by Brandon Nguyen and Taran Kollu. Nguyen had 34 digs, while Kollu had seven digs and one block. The dominant performance gave Kollu a new career-high in digs.

University Prep Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, University Prep Academy will take on Gunn at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
