Volleyball Recap: Jade Ertl's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Estes Park over Skyview Academy + How To Watch

Estes Park was the 3-0 winner over SkyView Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Hawks on Thursday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Estes Park's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jade Ertl, who had 14 digs.

SkyView Academy can attribute much of their success to Taylor Bales, who had 16 digs and one assist. Mariella Nylund-Marucut also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Estes Park's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for SkyView Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Estes Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Gilpin County on the 30th. As for SkyView Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Front Range Christian on the 27th.
