Baseball Recap: Parker Broncs vs. Odyssey Institute Minotaur
Parker easily dispatched Antelope on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Broncs fell just short of the Odyssey Institute Minotaur by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Broncs in their meetings with the Minotaur: they've now lost nine in a row.
Eddy Panuco made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Oscar Ortega, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Parker's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Odyssey Institute, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9-1.
Odyssey Institute didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-1 defeat against Northwest Christian on the 25th.
