Soccer Recap: Pearl Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Pearl was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Northwest Rankin Cougars, falling 6-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in December of 2024.

Pearl's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Northwest Rankin, they pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Pearl will square off against Petal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest Rankin, they will face off against Oak Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
