Basketball Recap: Hubbard Takes a Loss

Hubbard lost against Julian back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hubbard Greyhounds were beaten by the Julian Jaguars 62-11. The matchup marked the Greyhounds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hubbard's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Julian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hubbard will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christian Fenger Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Julian, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Julian Jaguars duke it out with the Englewood Stem Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
