Softball Recap: Vasquez Mustangs vs. Polytechnic Panthers
Vasquez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Polytechnic Panthers. Sadie Mendoza made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Nasrallah, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double.
Vasquez's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Polytechnic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
