Football Game Preview: Howe Bulldogs vs. Gunter Tigers + Official Tickets

The Howe Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Gunter Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Howe has given up an average of 39.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Howe is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Bells on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs were dealt a 42-13 loss at the hands of the Panthers. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Gunter entered their tilt with Callisburg on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Wildcats, posting a 43-6 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 22 points or more this season.

Gunter's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Howe, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Howe was dealt a bruising 65-7 loss at the hands of Gunter when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
