While Nantucket's win against Sturgis West wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Whalers skirted past the Navigators 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Whalers in their matchups with the Navigators: they've now won four in a row.

Nantucket saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joao Silva, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that Silva has snagged this season.

Nantucket's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Sturgis West, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Nantucket will square off against St. John Paul II at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Whalers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
