Kevin McNulty put in work no matter where he played. He pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. McNulty was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.

McNulty wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Blunden, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Blunden also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
