Baseball Recap: Huntsville Takes a Loss

Huntsville fell victim to Russellville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Russellville Cyclones. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cyclones apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Huntsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Russellville, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Huntsville has already played their next contest, a 14-5 win against Dardanelle on the 14th. As for Russellville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Cabot on the 13th.
