Basketball Recap: Walton-Verona Takes a Loss

Walton-Verona suffered their closest loss since December 27, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the North Oldham Mustangs by a score of 48-45. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 65-57.

Walton-Verona's defeat dropped their record down to 21-13. As for North Oldham, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Walton-Verona nor North Oldham have any future games scheduled.
