Red Mountain is 8-2 against Skyline since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mountain Lions will be playing at home against the Coyotes  at 6:30  p.m. Red Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season.
Red Mountain fought the good fight in their extra-innings  contest against Kofa  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Kings by a score of  7-6.
 Red Mountain saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cade Olsen, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another  was  Keith Price, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Skyline, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. Everything went their way against Westwood on Thursday as they made off with  a  14-3 win. The Coyotes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by nine  runs or more this season.
 Thor Pelczarski tossed a big game,   pitching five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits.
 At the plate, Skyline let  Dru Moore and  Hunter Daniels run wild. Moore  scored four  runs while going 3-for-3, while  Daniels  went 1-for-2 with three  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  triple. What's more,  Moore posted two  doubles, the most he's  had since back in March.  Ryan Vitale was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases.
 Red Mountain's loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-4. As for Skyline, their  victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 11-7.
 Red Mountain took their  win against Skyline  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  9-1 score. Will the Mountain Lions repeat their success,  or do  the Coyotes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
