Soccer Game Preview: Leo vs. Angola

The Leo Lions will challenge the Angola Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Leo is headed into Wednesday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since August 21. Neither they nor Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Leo hit the Braves with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dayne Roth, Owen Graves, and Aidan Corlew.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Angola rose to the challenge on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Railroaders. Angola haven't had any issues with Garrett recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Angola's victory bumped their record up to 6-10-1. With that draw, Leo's record moves to 9-4-3.
